What it is

Those black vertical streaks are a bonded deposit, not dirt. That is why washing the house never removes them. It is oxidised asphalt off the shingles mixed with road film and winter salt.

Badly chalked aluminum improves but will not return to original white. We tell you before starting.

Before and after

What whitening changes

The dark vertical streaking is a bonded deposit. Sweep across to see what comes off.

Move your pointer across the image. On a phone, drag it. Arrow keys work too.

What it fixes

  • Black vertical stripes down a white gutter
  • Gutters still dirty right after the house is washed
  • Chalky grey aluminum on the street-facing side
  • Clean siding that makes the gutters look worse
  • Streaks that come back within a season of a wash
03

How we work

  1. A gutter brightener and hand scrubbing, section by section. Pressure washing does not remove this.
  2. The siding underneath is rinsed, so no drip lines.
  3. Checked section by section, not treated once and hoped for.
04

What you get

  • Before and after photos of each elevation
  • An honest read on how far it will come back
  • A flat written price by elevation
  • Windows and siding below rinsed down
  • No drip lines left on the siding

When to book

Spring or summer, once the salt season is over. Whitening in late autumn leaves the finish facing a winter of road spray. A spring treatment then holds its look through the whole year.
