What it is
Most of what we repair in spring started as a small blockage the previous autumn. We repair rather than replace wherever repair is the honest answer. When a run is genuinely past saving we say so, instead of selling three more repairs.
What it fixes
- A joint that drips after the rain stops
- A section sagging away from the fascia
- Standing water days after rain
- A downspout come apart at the elbow
- A run pulled loose by winter ice
- End caps leaking at the corner of the house
How we work
- Backed-out spikes replaced with hidden hangers, not renailed.
- Runs re-pitched so the fall reaches the downspout.
- Every repair water-tested before we leave.
- Seams and end caps resealed with gutter-grade sealant, not general silicone.
What you get
- Photos of each defect, before and after
- A flat price per repair, agreed first
- A straight answer on repair versus replace
- Cracked elbows and downspouts replaced
- Confirmation the repaired run drains
When to book
Spring, once the snow is off. Catching it in April is the difference between a seam and a whole run. Soft fascia behind a loose run gets flagged, because hangers do not hold in rotten wood. A seam caught in April is a repair; left alone it becomes a re-hang.
